It was just a matter of time before this happened. This will not end here unless the authorities get their act together and get food out to the people asap.

Driven by hunger ?
Premalal Perera Wednesday, 25 March 2020 03:17 PM
The motive may be Robbery or sheer desperation, without income to feed the family. These types of incidents could only grow in a country where majority are poor and the rich elilte rulers have plundered the resources. So there is nothing to hold up the nation by way of a social safety net in a situation like this. The people are only asked even by the mainstream media to remain indoors without any solution, any hope. How really do you want them to die. By the virus or by hunger.

These are subhumans we have in this country. The perpetrator should be locked up and the key thrown away. Fortunately these people are very few .
Chris Wednesday, 25 March 2020 04:22 PM
Now comes desperation by people. I do not want to judge.
Susantha Wednesday, 25 March 2020 04:56 PM
This could be expected. What else could do poor people?. Asking them to die starving?.
