Those who criticized each other and locked horns at the presidential election platforms were among the politicians who had come to Parliament yesterday to pay their last respects to former Prime Minister D.M. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today paid his last respects to the remains of former prime minister D.M. Jayaratne at the Parliamentary Complex. Political leaders including Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and several foreign delegates also paid their last respect to the former premier's remains today.
