Oil Spill incident management exercise

An Oil Spill Incident Management Exercise was conducted by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard under the guidance of the Japan Coast Guard with the assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at the Dickovita Fishery harbour on Friday.
State Minister of Defence, Ruwan Wijewardene witnessed the demonstration. The Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Kenichi Suganuma, Director General (Guard and Rescue) of the Japanese Coast Guard Vice Admiral Hiroyuki Nakanothe, Navy Commander Ravindra Wijegunaratne and the Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge were also present on the occasion.
