The Rajya Osu Sala of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation has taken steps to send medicines to people's doorsteps on request. The government said only the Osu Salas were permitted to operate during the curfew period but many of the Osu Sala outlets were seen closed today. The outlets have resorted to the option of sending medicine to the homes. A man is seen taking a photo of a notice put up outside the Osu Sala in Town Hall which requests people to send details of prescription via phones. Pix by Kithsiri de Mel

Compare to barbaric violence being unleashed by the Indian Policemen on the Indians seen on the roads , our Policemen are treating people with some respect.

They are not Policemen my dear. They are Army personnel. Note the uniform and rank and the unit identification patch on the arm.

Gotabaya can you please provide these street cleaners with proper cleaning gear such as boots and other equipment? Gloves are good but please make it a COMPREHENSIVE kit so that they are protected. Why I am addressing this to Gotabaya is because this was his initiative.
