Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva felicitated at Gajaba Regiment

A felicitation ceremony was held at the Gajaba Regiment Headquarters to salute to the newly appointed chief of staff of the Sri Lanka Army Major General Shavendra Silva. The ceremony follows the military traditions, customs and ethics which gave the pride to the Gajaba Regiment. This is the first formal visit of the Chief of Staff to his Home of Gajaba and it followed a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour. Council Members, the Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant of the Gajaba Regiment, Senior officers and Other Rankers of the Gajaba Regiment attended the occasion.
