The Collective against the cattle slaughter launched a march from Galle Face to Lake House Roundabout yesterday urging the President to enforce the ban on cattle slaughter. Pix by Nisal Baduge

    What we should be doing is enforcing a ban on animal cruelty. The methods use to slaughter animal in this country is so barbaric.

    So they are going to pass another bill in parliament??? I'm a fish lover- Ban that cruelty, tons of fishes are being butchered everyday. Pigs, Chickens and Goats are living things I suppose.

    Saving one animal will increase the killing of other animals and birds for meat, unless they ban all the killing for food.
