Union Assurance shines at 51st ICASL Annual Report Awards

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) recently concluded its Annual Report Awards Ceremony, with award winners being recognised for financial and non-financial reporting excellence.

Recipients of the awards come from a variety of sectors, bound by the common thread of responsible, credible and accurate reporting.

First conducted in 1964, the Annual Report Awards aims to create a platform to promote transparency in financial reporting while enhancing reporting standards in keeping with the global best practices.

These awards have become a benchmark for many leading corporations in the public and private sectors, signifying excellence in financial reporting.

At this year’s award ceremony Union Assurance was recognized with the Silver award in the insurance industry making the Union Assurance Annual Report 2014 one of the best reports from the sector this year.
