Sri Lanka-Rwanda Business Forum to be held in Colombo

Aims to promote trade, tourism and investment


Sri Lanka-Rwanda Business Forum, which is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will be held on May 28, 2015 with the participation of a high-powered business delegation from Rwanda.
The event, which is organised in association with the Rwanda Private Sector Federation, High Commission of Rwanda in India and Honorary Consulate General of Rwanda in Sri Lanka, is aimed at promoting trade, investment and tourism between the two countries.
The forum, which would be held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium, will be followed by a networking session between the Rwandan business community and their counterparts in Sri Lanka.
The focus sectors of the forum are agriculture, agro machinery and agro processing, dairy production, education, food processing, health, housing and real estate development, information technology, infrastructure development in Rwanda, mining, pharmaceuticals, power and energy, tea and textiles and garments.
