Print USA wins 16 Lanka Star and 3 Asia Star Awards

Print USA (Pvt.) Ltd, a pioneering Sri Lankan company dedicated to providing the best quality printed packaging to its customers, won the most number of awards for excellence at the recently concluded Lanka Star Awards Ceremony 2015 held at The Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo and thereafter three Asia Star Awards at the World Packaging Conference held in Istanbul, Turkey. 
Print USA bagged five Gold, seven Silver and three Bronze Lanka Star Awards along with another accolade for the most number of awards won by a single company. Having won four Gold, four Silver and one Bronze award at the Lanka Star Awards Ceremony in 2011, this is the second time that Print USA received the accolade for winning the highest number of awards at a Lanka Star Awards Ceremony.
“We have implemented greater plans for increasing production capacity by at least 30 percent in 2016. The company has plans to invest in new machinery and new value addition equipment in order to better service our broad portfolio of respected clientele in the tea, rubber, confectionary and cosmetic industries. Our brand-new production lines will be in operation from February-March next year,” said Print USA (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Sathis Abeywickrama. 
Having started his career over 37 years ago, Abeywickrama has a trail of experience in the growth of the packaging industry in Sri Lanka. In order to support the new phase of fast paced growth, Abeywickrama’s son – Isuru Abeywickrama joined the company three years ago which has strengthened the company’s prospects for continuity.   
“Our strength is our dedicated and longstanding staff whose passion for servicing our customers to their fullest capacity and ability has helped us to produce the best quality printed packaging in the market,” Abeywickrama added emphasizing on the value that dedicated and loyal staff brings to the success of an organisation.
PrintUSA (Pvt.) Ltd was established over 25 years ago by Abeywickrama and specialized in servicing the value-added tea and rubber industries as a specialty. The company has since diversified to service the offset printed packaging needs of the cosmetic and beauty industry, garments, value-added coconut industry and the confectionary industry.
