PickMe launches business portal for enterprise

PickMe’s ‘PickMe Business’ business portal is set to revolutionise the transport administration of businesses. Taking a step forward from supplying efficient transportation to individual users via the PickMe app now even businesses can enjoy the same ‘smart’ service PickMe provides via PickMe Business.

PickMe Business is a software similar to the PickMe app but customized to cater to specific operational requirements of businesses that handle transportation of employees or guests. PickMe Business can be operated on any smart device - mobile phones, tablets or PCs. It helps businesses manage everything from allocating taxis for staff/guest transportation and automatic billing to cutting down on administration and operational costs related to transport.

Employees no longer have the hassle of paying off the driver, collecting bills and requesting reimbursement and the company doesn’t have to worry about deciphering sometimes illegible travel receipts or the filing of these receipts. Apart from that they would be able to do away with the time-consuming process of manually calculating amounts to be reimbursed through petty cash. It also provides employees with the benefit of not having to carry taxi money and the inevitable need to have loose change, not to mention the avoided delays in waiting for drivers to write out receipts when they are rushed for time.

It is the same for businesses that arrange guest transport: apart from the ease of booking a taxi via PickMe, such businesses can also stop worrying about maintaining bills for monthly post payments to be made to various taxi companies, maintaining vouchers and worrying about passenger safety, etc. Even if guests do not speak languages understood by the drivers that ferry them, the business can now connect with the driver and passenger in real time and provide the additional service of guiding the driver to cater to guest requests. The other advantage of PickMe is that the service provides an option of businesses to choose vehicle types for their customers from three-wheelers (tuk-tuks) and mini cabs to cars and vans, i.e., it is designed to fit any purse or travel requirement.
