People’s Insurance announces IPO

People’s Insurance Ltd, managed by People’s Leasing and Finance PLC is offering to sell shares on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
To this end, the company will be offering 50 million ordinary voting shares at a price of Rs.15 per share.
The CSE has in principle approved an application by the company for the listing of the said shares.
The subscription list of the issue will open on December 16, 2015. NDB Investment Bank Limited, Acuity Partners and People’s Bank Investment Banking Unit are the Joint Financial Advisors and Managers to the issue.
SSP Corporate Services Private Limited functions as the Registrars to the issue.
