OCBT Campus, The University for Innovative Business and Technologies in Asia, is part of an international collaboration with links to a wide range of reputable Universities, Colleges in the UK, USA, India, Sri Lanka and Australia.

OCBT’s principal focus is to provide higher education of international standard to local and international students with a view to producing globally competitive graduates who will meet the demands of the modern society and contribute to the socio-economic development of the globe. To achieve these objectives, OCBT provides excellent opportunities for classroom learning, independent and group studies and research.

It’s globally recognized study programs in Business Management and Interior Design are on for 2016 intake. These programs are in collaboration with accredited and recognized universities and institutions in UK and Sri Lanka. Further, it have given the opportunity for local students to study their Diplomas, Bachelor’s Degrees at an affordable price in the most flexible way at OCBT Campus Colombo 3. Students who have local or International G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) with 5 credit passes or with pending results can register for these programs. According to the director of OCBT, Prasanna Aluthge, the working (or adult) students can submit their applications mentioning their work experience to consider advance standing in the programs.

The uniqueness of the Business Management program (from HND to MBA) is that those who have GCE O/L with the required level of pass marks have the facility to complete a master degree after the HND in Business Management with in a period of 3 years. Students after O/L’s A/L’s or those who have relevant work experience can directly start the Advance Certificate in Business Management and through that they can proceed up to Level 06 diploma within 2 years time which is equivalent to a Degree.

Finally a student who starts this program as soon as they sat for G.C.E O/L could complete their Bachelor’s Degree (British) with in a period of 2 years here in Sri Lanka or UK. The Interior Design program (from Certificate , HND to BA) is designed for those who have GCE O/L with the required level of pass marks to achieve an Industry relevant qualification with global recognition. The Full time program could take 2 years for the students to complete their Higher Diploma and the part-time pathway takes more than 2 years.

After completion of the Higher Diploma, OCBT will place them in the industry for them to gain the real world experience and the students could complete their BA in Interior Design while they work on Part time basis.

The students who want their final stages of study in Malaysia or UK, that could be arranged through our partner network.

The classes will be held from 9.30 am to 4.30p.m. on week days and weekends. Arrangements have been made for the students to pay the course fees on installment basis via bank loans.
