Nithyakalyani and NJ Exports win NCE Awards

Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery (WNJ) and its wing company NJ Exports were adjudged as the Silver award winner in the Precious Stones and Jewellery in Large and Medium categories, respectively, at the 23rd Annual NCE Awards 2015 organised by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka. The award was received by CEO A.P. Jayarajah at the gala awards ceremony held recently at Hilton Colombo.

NJ Exports is a leading manufacturer and exporter of gems and jewellery in Sri Lanka. NJ Exports was incorporated in 2009 and began operations in 2010 in order to cater to the export demand that the organisation was able to create through its holding company WNJ over a period of time. NJ Exports has become a leader because the company educates its clients on various aspects of jewellery retailing in addition to manufacturing and supplying.

Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery and NJ Exports export jewellery products to major destinations such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the United States, where a substantial amount of Sri Lankan expatriates live. NJ Exports has since been providing personalized jewellery solutions to its customers facilitated by its use of advanced and specialized in-house manufacturing techniques.

The establishment has proved its export capabilities with its venture in markets such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. NJ offers designs to retailers in the export markets and produces according to the requirements of the end customers in the specific regions, in a cost-effective manner.
