Sri Lanka’s largest paint manufacturer and the premier paint brand, Multilac has further expanded its horizons, venturing to market its products in the Seychelles.

This project was executed in partnership with BODCO Limited, a Seychelles-based world-class supplier of good quality and cost-effective building materials.
BODCO opened the company’s newest showroom in Seychelles and as Multilac’s exclusive distributor in Seychelles, this outlet will feature Multilac’s entire range of products.

The ceremonial opening of the showroom was graced by the presence of Managing Director and Consulate of Denmark Basil Soundy, Administration Director Vivienne Soundy, Operations Manager Dean Soundy, who represented BODCO, General Manager Ramesh Perera, Assistant General Manager Rajith Liyanaarachchi and Export Manager Jacob, who represented Multilac.

The new Multilac Colour Bank showroom will feature the entire product portfolio of Multilac, which includes innovative paint solutions, auto paints, wood care range and Weather Shield paints.

At the launch, Soundy opined that the partnership forged with Multilac is a strategic move made at the juncture where BODCO is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

He further mentioned that Multilac products would be well received by construction industry professionals such as architects and builders, thereby assisting BODCO to widen its market scope in the Seychelles.

Commenting on the venture, Macksons Holdings Managing Director Mizver Makeen said that it was another milestone that Multilac had reached stepping forward into the Seychelles to expand its export market.

As a Sri Lankan manufacturer that strives to prove the country’s production potential, constantly innovating and conquering the global arena with high-quality products, Multilac exports its products to the Maldives, Trinidad, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and the Middle East with the latest addition being the Seychelles.
Multilac has a dealer network of more than 7,000 in Sri Lanka and has been at the forefront of the paint and surface coatings industry for the past 33 years.
