MGC-ECL Sports Day a great success

MG Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd (MGC) and Engineering Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd (ECL) hosted the entire staff and their families of over 600 people to a day filled with fun and frolic at their annual ‘MGC-ECL Family Fun and Sports Day’ held at the Bloomfield Grounds, Colombo recently. 
The traditional Cricket Tournament was played between nine teams comprising of MGC-ECL head office and project staff working across the country. The champion team was the Northern Road Connectivity Project team. Multiple games and activities were organised for spouses and children of staff with winners being awarded exciting prizes such as return air tickets, hotel stays, etc.
MGC and ECL are leading multi-disciplinary consultancy companies with experience in infrastructure development, social and ICT sectors. Their repertoire of consultancy experience in the construction industry includes highways and transportation, provincial and rural roads, architectural and building design services, airports and harbours, irrigation and drainage and environmental management. They are also a leading social sector consultancy company highly-experienced in consultancy assignments in the fields of education, environment and land, health and community development. The ICT sector contribution includes experience in ICT consultancy and project management of complex and unique ICT solutions for the government and private sectors.
MGC-ECL organises its annual ‘MGC-ECL Family Fun and Sports Day’ to bring together staff scattered around the country working in different projects to appreciate their valuable contributions to the success of the group.
