Macksons Care launches OXYjet face and body machine

Another venture by Macksons Holdings, Macksons Care (Pvt) Ltd was launched as a provider of state-of-the-art facial and body care equipment.
Macksons Care is also the sole agent in the country for Nora Bode Kosmetik, Germany. At a ceremony held at the Cinnamon Lakeside in Colombo, OXYjet—Nora Bode’s pressure injection unit for facial and body care was launched to mark the establishment of Macksons Care.

Lothar Bode, President of Nora Bode and his wife Jutta Bode, Managing Director of the company participated at the event as Chief Guests while Ameer Alavi, Sole Agent (South Asia region) for Nora Bode and his wife Parveen Alavi was also present at the event, along with Mizver Makeen – Managing Director, Nilrukshi De Silva – Vice President and Head of Corporate and Business Development, Mizha Ismail – Chief Operating Officer and Aqla Mizver – Creative Director who represented Macksons Holdings.

Proprietors of the country’s leading salons and salon chains, professional beauticians, stylists and industry experts were invited to this event where the first OXYjet machine was presented to Mrs Sheela Fernando, proprietor of Salon Sheela in Moratuwa.

Addressing the gathering at the launch, Jutta Bode acknowledged the guests on the history of Nora Bode as well as the future plans of the company. Nora Bode was established in 1994 in Hohenstein, Germany. The company specializes in the treatment of skin diseases, especially relating to anti-aging. It has introduced advanced treatment systems such as the OXYjet, through pressure injection mechanisms, which aids in injecting pure concentrated oxygen into the deep layers of skin without using needles. This method of treatment helps in preventing pigmentation, wrinkles and spots on skins and is effective and proven to have no side effects.
