John Keells PLC, the commodity and stockbroking arm of the country’s largest conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH), has appointed Hishantha de Mel as the Acting CEO following the resignation of Sudath Munasinghe.John Keells PLC, the commodity and stockbroking arm of the country’s largest conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH), has appointed Hishantha de Mel as the Acting CEO following the resignation of Sudath Munasinghe.
The change is with effect from October 1.
De Mel joined John Keells as an Executive in 2000 and rose up to Head of Marketing—Tea and Assistant Vice President of the parent company John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH) in July 2013.
He has an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and is an associate member of Chartered Management Accountants, UK.
