Dunamis Capital to raise Rs.1bn via debentures

Dunamis Capital PLC, a Schaffter family company with interests in financial services, property development and manufacturing, said it was raising Rs.1 billion through a listed debenture issue.

The company has recovered approval in principle from the Colombo Stock Exchange to list its debt securities.

Accordingly, Dunamis plans to issue 10 million rated, senior, unsecured, redeemable debentures at a par value of Rs.100 each.

The subscription list of the issue is scheduled to open on November 19, 2015.

First Capital Limited functions as the managers to the issue while Business Intelligence (Pvt.) Ltd is the registrars.
