The ‘Diva Idame Vasanawa’ promotion is an eagerly anticipated calendar event of Diva and an admirable way in which the brand prides itself, creating a positive social impact giving back to the community.

Diva as the fastest growing detergent powder in the market and premium brand of Hemas Manufacturing held its annual mega consumer promotion ‘Idame Vasanawa’ from May 1 to July 31, culminating with the handing over of land deeds to three lucky winners recently.

Throughout the 2015 ‘Idame Vasanawa’ promotion Diva showered gratitude and appreciation upon loyal customers enhancing the chances to win valuable prizes weekly. Diva presented 13 lucky customers with gold coins and 90 daily winners received their reward of Rs.10,000 each.

As a brand with a rich history over a decade delivering superior value Diva has also provided substantial rewards to its loyal consumers. Since 2011 Diva has realized the lifelong dream of over a dozen lucky consumers transforming their lives through the gift of land close to Colombo.

Throughout the five consecutive years that Diva has conducted its ‘Idame Vasanawa’ campaign, over 500 jubilant winners have received cash rewards and other valuable gifts. This year’s promotion too generated an enthusiastic and excellent response among loyal Diva consumers.

Diva consumers were invited to participate in the inaugural Diva consumer promotion ‘Ravumata Idamak’ held in 2011 offering gifts valuable plots, followed by a similar promotion in 2012 titled ‘Nuwanakkariya Idamak’, which also rewarded land close to Colombo.

Fervent participation was witnessed in 2013 with Diva’s third consecutive mega consumer promotion titled ‘Nidhan Ekka Idam’ where four plots of land were gifted to the winners. Last year, five Diva consumers became proud land owners. To-date 16 lucky winners have received land close to Colombo.

“We wholeheartedly value our loyal consumer base and during every Diva promotion we seek to gift something that will significantly improve their lives,” said Hemas Marketing Manager Fiona Munasinghe.

“For many Sri Lankans, their lifelong dream is having their own land to build a home and through our Diva ‘Idame Vasanawa’ initiative we provide a platform to realise these dreams,” Munasinghe added.

The three winners who received their gifted deeds to individual plots of land close to Colombo were effusive in their praise for the company.

An overwhelmed Sharnika Ratna Kumari, a housewife from Madampe, winner of the third plot of land, said, “Some companies offer gifts as prizes but Diva is the only one that gifts you a new life through their gift of land. For me and my family it is an unimaginable joy to receive this prize and my gratitude to Diva for securing our future. We now own land in Colombo and that is a dream come true.” Dulika Priyadarshinie from Kegalle, this year’s first ‘Idame Vasanawa’ winner, said, “I have over the years participated in the competition and never dreamed I would win. This land will surely transform our lives and our children now eagerly look forward to a prosperous tomorrow. We wholeheartedly thank Hemas and Diva was for organising this promotion annually and salute their great service to the nation.”

Karunatilake Fernando from Puttalam, this year’s winner of the second plot of land was overcome in his praise saying, “We live very far from Colombo and face many hardships. We currently live on land given to us by the state and have always yearned to live close to the city. Winning a plot from Diva is truly a dream come dream.” Diva currently has a wide range of washing powders: Diva Regular comes in a lime fragrance while the newly launched ‘Diva Flowers’ is available in Rose and Lime and Jasmine and Lime variants.
