Asiri group takes full control of Central Hospitals Limited

Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC yesterday said it upped its stake in Central Hospitals Limited (CHL) with the purchase of 9.49 percent shares, increasing its hold of the entity to 77.62 percent.

In a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), Softlogic Corporate Services, on behalf of Asiri Hospitals Limited, shared that the company had purchased 20.4 million CHL shares for a total consideration of Rs.845.7 million from Actis Investments Holdings SL Limited. 

The purchase was made for Rs.41.42 per share.

Following the transaction, Asiri Hospitals Limited now holds a total of 166.9 million shares in CHL.

Asiri Central Hospitals Limited, a subsidiary of Asiri Hospitals Limited, holds a 22.11 percent stake in CHL with 47.5 million shares.
