The Young Members Forum (YMF) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) successfully conducted an interactive discussion on the topic ‘Success Story - Commemorating Triumphs’ at Hilton Colombo Residences last week.
Young entrepreneurs such as Kapruka.com CEO Dulith Herath, Creative Minds COO/Director Uditha Chandimal and EmoJot Inc Founder Shahani Markus shared their business start-up story at the session. The session was moderated by CCC Chief Economist Anushka Wijesinha.
The session provided an opportunity to participants to understand their business start-up success story and be motivated through them. Moreover, the participants received an opportunity to learn from these panellists on the challenges encountered by them and their success and failures.
The session provided participants the opportunity to listen, ask questions and also interact with the above listed successful entrepreneurs and find out what went into building their businesses from scratch. This programme was supported by Nations Trust Bank (NTB) and Sri Lanka Institute of Marking (SLIM).
The YMF is an initiative of the CCC to shape up ‘next generation’ leaders in the country. It encourages a knowledge-sharing culture, provide assistance and training to young professionals on business and employment and also help its members to network with the CCC members.
