Successful leaders of acclaimed global firms, such as the ones from, Google, McKinsy & Company, AirBnB, DERTOUR, Shangri-La Hotels and Pemandu Malaysia and high profile public officials of foreign countries are lined up to share their expertise at the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2016.
Among the speakers would be Dato Sri Idris Jala, CEO of PEMANDU , Malaysia, Gajendra Haldea, Member, Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi, Prof Razeen Sally, Associate Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Michael Cottan, Executive Vice President of Shangri-La Hotels, Rajan Anandan, Managing Director of Google India, Mike Orgill, Director, Public Policy Affairs of Asia of AirBnB, Jorn Krausser, Vice President of Intercontinental Travel of DER Touristik, Germany, Andrew Fairley, Director tourism Australia, Desmond Sheehy, Managing Director of Duxton Asset Management, Steve Saxon, Expert Partner of McKinsy & Company and Dr.Mohd Gazali Abas, Deputy Secretary-General Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia.
Some of them will deliver the keynote speeches at different sessions, while the rest will join the
expert panelists, who will engage in panel discussions, across the two days of the summit, which attracts the cream of the countries corporate sector as participants.
President Maithripala Sirisena will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event, which will be held on the 2nd and 3rd August, 2016 at the Cinnamon Grand and is organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Hayleys PLC and Pyramid Wilmar are platinum sponsors of the Sri Lanka Economic Summit, while Sunshine Holdings and CIC has come forward as the Gold Sponsors of the event. Dialog have sign in as the Silver sponsor and First Capital is the strategic sponsor of the summit.
