Hydromec International (Pvt.) Ltd has supplied a Snorkel M1230E vertical mast lift to work in the new warehouse at Nobleswear Manufacturing, Pallekelle (Industrial Zone). Hydromec also designed and supplied the integrated racking system for the warehouse.
The Snorkel M1230E vertical mast lift is a highly versatile aerial work platform, which is robust and simple to use. Designed for applications such as stockpicking and facilities maintenance, the Snorkel M1230E can be driven through a standard doorway, has a spacious platform, which can lift two people plus tools to a working height of 3.6m, and benefits from compact overall dimensions making it very manoeuvrable in tight spaces.
Nobleswear (Pvt.) Ltd commenced operations in 1987 with its first factory in Horana, thereafter expanded operations in Koggala and two factories in Pallekelle. It exports 94 percent its products to the European market. Hydromec began working with UpRight Powered Access in 2000 and has seven units working at the Smart Shirts facility. UpRight Powered Access rebranded as Snorkel in 2010 and a number of Snorkel lifts can also be found working at SriLankan Airlines, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, airports in Mattala/Katunayake and the American Embassy in Sri Lanka, amongst others, all of which have been supplied and serviced by Hydromec International (Pvt.) Ltd, which is the official Snorkel distributor in Sri Lanka.
Hydromec International (Pvt.) Ltd has installed racking systems for SriLanka Airlines, Timex Group, Hirdramani Group, Smart Shirts, Katunayake, Ceylon Biscuits, Maliban Biscuits, Lanka Floortiles to name a few. It is also the dealer in Sri Lanka for Hyster material handling equipment.
