Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), together with its mobile phone service partner Mobitel, hosted a Red Carpet Affair for its VIP customers at Cinnamon Grand recently.
Aptly titled Red Carpet Affair, the event was attended by a galaxy of corporate as well as social elite, while government dignitaries were also present.
The local telecom giant said it was only right that they felicitate their longstanding customers as a token of appreciation for their loyal patronage over the years.
SLT and Mobitel’s end of year entertainment extravaganza was produced and conceptualized by Classic Funtime, which is well known for producing unique, high-end events.
The evening commenced with cocktails, while the show itself saw some of the biggest names in the western music industry backed by Flame with the addition of a brass ensemble, while harmony and a violin provided the proverbial icing on the cake. The ambience and feel of a theatre created by a red velvet curtained stage, a one-hour performance of entertainment customized and choreographed especially for SLT and Mobitel, followed by a sit down dinner, ensured that this was indeed an evening to remember and one that would go down in the annals of superior corporate entertainment.
