HNB PLC announced the launch of co-branded corporate credit cards in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) recently.
The new co-branded corporate credit card will be made available to all ICCSL members and bundled with a slew of exclusive discounts, offers,
and promotions.
The launch was commemorated with a special ceremony attended by top officials from ICCSL and HNB including HNB Deputy General Manager, Retail Banking, Sanjay Wijemanne, HNB Head of Cards, Roshantha Jayatunge together with Shanil Fernando, Secretary, ICCSL , Sheanath De Zoysa, Treasurer, ICCSL and Nihara Nanayakkara, Chief Operating
Officer, ICCSL .
“HNB is proud to have partnered with an organization as reputed as the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka - an organization whose membership includes over 250 of the most respected corporates in the country.
“ICCSL members that apply for the new card will be able in turn to issue multiple cards to top management in their respective organisations which can then be utilized to cover company petty cash expenses, travel and entertainment payments, all while ensuring that company expenses are handled with complete transparency,” HNB Head of Cards, Roshantha Jayatunge said.
Through the partnership, ICCSL members will also gain access to exclusive personal financial services in addition to a variety of discounts offered by HNB through a far-reaching network of MasterCard merchant outlets locally and internationally.
ICCSL members will also be entitled to a 5 – 10 percent discount on all entrance tickets for ICCSL programmes and annual membership fees through the HNB- ICCSL co- branded corporate Master Credit Card. Waiving off the membership fee and the first annual fee, HNB also pledges to share 0.1 percent of the revenue created through usage of the exclusive card, both locally and internationally, with the ICCSL.
“By partnering with banking services providers as dynamic and innovative as HNB we ensure that our customers are provided the most value, including access to a plethora of incentives from merchant outlets. Additionally, HNB also shares a percentage of the revenue earned through transactions made by this unique card, providing the ICCSL with further value and helping us to ensure that our organization continues to grow and thrive,” ICCSL Secretary, Shanil Fernando said.
To ensure the exclusivity of the benefits offered to ICCSL, members are required to submit proof of board resolution, corporate guarantee and letter of consent together with the required personal details to HNB. The services and benefits are also extended to employees of ICCSL member companies.
