As part of his environment and ecological-friendly election campaign, Sampath Rambukkanage, the candidate for Pamankade (East) in the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), is using a small fully electric car as his mode of personal transport.
Battery-powered vehicles aren’t the only way to green environment but trying to do some change, Rambukkanage said as a candidate of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, commonly known by its Sinhalese name, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
He is on a mission as he takes the wheel of a car with a plug-in lithium-ion battery pack that can go over 100 miles.
