The Department of Census and Statistics (DCS), the main statistical organisation of the government, has initiated an online survey to measure the impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to the Sri Lankan economy.
The DCS said it hopes to collect representative samples from more than 15,000 entities, in both formal and informal sectors, for the survey.
The DCS requested the country’s business community to support the survey by taking part in it. Business entities can take part in this survey by visiting www.statistics.gov.lk or downloading the PDF questionnaire from the same website.
The completed questionnaire should be dispatched to the DCS via its fax number 011-2147412 or by emailing it to [email protected] or to the address, Industry, Construction, Trade and Services Division, Census and Statistics Department, No. 306/71, Polduwa Road, Battaramulla.
