The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) together with presidential award winner Lanka Exhibitions & Conference Services will be organising the fifth Construction Expo Mega Mart from July 29 to 31, 2016 at the BMICH.
This year’s expo will showcase over 200 stalls raging from all types of construction and building products and services. Over the years, the exhibition has been the most sought-after gathering place for consumers on the lookout for different innovations and products-related to the construction industry. Exhibitors have found the exhibition to be the most potent and comprehensive platform to meet new customers and network. A special feature is the numerous concurrent events to supplement the main exhibition. The ‘World Construction Symposium’ with the participation of foreign construction giants will take place simultaneous during the expo. Many specialized seminars conducted by Lux Senanayake, Chamika Peiris, Jat Holdings, CADD Centre Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd and Reliable Engineering will be held on July 30 and 31 at the same premises, covering topics on construction, engineering, time and cost management and architecture. Participation at the seminar is free of charge. Another highlight this year is the ‘Green Pavilion’, which will showcase green certified products and services.
This is an ideal event for new home owners and builders. Some of the latest and cost-effective techniques will be on show for all types of consumers. Forty five Chinese companies will be participating under a special pavilion from China.
