Chandula Abeywickrema, the Chairman of Lanka Impact Investing Network (Pvt.) Ltd (LIIN), the first impact investing private equity fund and network of Sri Lankan Impact Investors and the Co-Fonder of Ath Pavura, the first TV reality show for social entrepreneurs and impact investors was invited by World University Service of Canada (WUSC).
Chandula, a senior commercial banker with a international expertise on the retail and development and banking and expert on financial inclusion advocacy in Asia, currently serves as the Chairman of the Banking With The Poor network (BWTP-Singapore) , and as the advisor to Asian Bankers Association (ABA-Taipe) on Financial Inclusion.
Chandula is invited by the organisers of the forum to speak on the impact investing for entrepreneur empowerment – the Asian solution for economic revolution.
The seventh annual international forum will be held in Ottawa, from January 19th to 20th, 2018. The international forum will be hosted at the Westin Hotel in downtown Ottawa.
