Cargills Food City together with Unilever Sri Lanka raised the curtains for yet another season of shopping filled with joy and excitement with the announcement of ‘Shopping Star – Season 4’, a one-of-a-kind shopping promotion.
The fourth season of this distinctive shopping promotion kicked off on 17th October and will continue until 5th December, culminating in an action packed grand finale. The first round of ‘Shopping Star – Season 4’ will roll out at selected Cargills Food City outlets selecting 10 winners from around the country for the grand finale.
Customers who shop for at least three of the eight nominated Unilever brands, namely Signal, Lifebuoy, Sunsilk, Lipton, Pears, Vim, Surf Excel and Vaseline, at any of the Cargills Food City outlets island wide can fill a coupon available at the paying counter to partake in this competition.
Lucky customers will be selected through a raffle draw and called for district competitions which will be held at selected outlets. These contestants will then have to race through the aisles filling their trolleys with as many goods as possible within a specified time period. All contestants will walk away with vouchers worth Rs.10,000 each while the lucky district winner will proceed to the grand finale.
Ten district winners will then compete against each other for the grand prize of Rs. 2 million, second prize of Rs.1 million and third prize of Rs.500,000 at the grand finale of the promotion. The other seven participants will be rewarded with gold jewelry worth Rs.50,000 each.
