The Central Bank annual report for the year 2016 was handed over to Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake by Central Bank Governor Indrajit Coomaraswamy, yesterday. According to the Monetary Law Act of Sri Lanka, the records of the country’s income and expenditure for a year should be officially communicated to the finance minister before April 30 of the following year. This is the 67th annual report of the Central Bank
