Youth drowns at Galle Face Sea

A 21 year old youth drowned at the Galle Face Sea in Colombo while bathing with a group of friends last evening, police said.

The youth was identified as Puwaneshwaran Sandarbos, a resident from Nawalapitiya area.

Police are conducing further investigations to search for the missing body with the help of the Navy.

    deepest sympathies,and it's good to talk about safety and facilities.but one thing should be remembered by everybody that the sea is not a place to bathe anywhere and anytime of the year.this kind of tragedies mostly happen due to ignorance.not just only due to lack of safety and facilities.
