Youth drowned after Korean Test

A 21 year-old youth from Katugastota who sat the Korean Language Test in Colombo yesterday died after drowning in the seas off Bambalapitiya, police said.

The victim identified as Sirantha Udayanta Chandraratne had gone to the beach in Bambalapitiya after appearing for the Korean Language Test.

He had gone to the beach to have a wash with some persons who had acquainted with him at the examination centre, according to investigations.
