Minister Wimal Weerawansa has been discharged from the Kurunegala hospital a short while ago after doctors said that the dizziness was due to excessive stress.

Sources said the doctors had ruled out any cardiac issues relating to him. Doctors had also said that the Minister had not taken meals at regular times and this together with excessive stress had led to the Minister falling ill.
