“Wele Suda’s” Rs.185 million assets frozen

Colombo High Court freezed assets valued at Rs.185 mil. belonging to alleged drug kingpin Samantha Kumara alias “Wele Suda” and his family.

Five luxury houses in Nadimala, Dehiwala, Wijeyarama road Colombo, Bagathale road and Rajagiriya areas and three vehicles  (BMW, Range Rover, Prado) and Jewelry worth million rupees are among the assets seized.

The CID is on the look out for any one who tries to earn money in undue ways.

    In Sri Lanka only Drug dealers and the politicians are having the luxury and duper life , It can be an oposition memeber of parliament or a goverment MP ; all these peole are enjoying super duper life , Recently I visited a leading beach hotel in Trinco , It was strange to note that a shouting opposition MP having a Range Rover which is costing more than 8 Million even if he bought it on the tax free permit . From where he gets this much money , he was a just a clearing forwarder of Air freight.

    End of the day, when you go home, have dinner with your family and then lay back to sleep, listen to your conscience and enjoy the peace of mind that you finished your day with honesty, responsibly, with respect to others around you, without any criminality, following good ethics and principles. What a great feeling!!! Can this Kudo do that? Can MR do that? Can IGP do that? Can Mohan Pieris do that?

    If the CID is after all the people who have ill gotten wealth, we will NOT have even one member of parliament, Provincial council and Pradeshiya sabha representatives.... not forgetting the police force... customs and the like....

    Now that Wele suda is captured how about his political contacts who helped him on this business ? Can the CID start grilling this wele suda publish all politician's names ? Then can we also know if his wife has received forged passports how did the passport office get involved and who has signed the applications and the record of this issue.?Can we also get a full travel record of his wife since 2006 or 2008. Can you also publish the Lawyer who was involved on all DEED transactions pertaining to the houses which were purchased out of this money... Can we also publish the BANK who was protecting all the money which was put in to get credit cards / etc....We should also investigate the bank which did not even checked this man's income and get the Central Bank to check on such huge amount of money been investigated.Didn't anyone at any point be concerned about such amount of wealth popping up like mushrooms ? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL PERMISSIONS GIVEN TO THIS MAN ?
