Well said Gota. Some people with not even an ounce of sense try to ruin the peace in the country, spread rumours and aggitate communities. Think before you act. At the end its the innocent who suffer.

A very well said , defence secretary. People should understand that they cannot disrupt the peace prevailing in the country now. Any offender should be punished severely.

After thirty years of civil war these people still have not learned. Surrounding a police station and assaulting the men in uniform is nothing short of anarchy. Does it take a few bullets fired into the crowd to make them calm down and go home? Silly. When will they ever learn?

Well said Sir, Way to move forward, we don't need Emergency laws to stop the Geese Devil...very soon it will be over!

I totally agree with the Defense Secretary. People must not take law and order in their hands and it's not a healthy situation to any country. But in my opinion, as far as Muslim community is concerned, unfortunately in most areas, the morale of a section of youth has been corrupted by slick politicians. They are the people who train these youths to act unruly during election periods and then these youth become accustomed to violence. At situations where they become emotional, then these kind of qualities become apparent. The government must therefore not accommodate these corrupt politicians who do not in general work in the interest of the country. Then we could expect a healthy, peaceful situation in our country, mother Sri Lanka.
