Water cannons to disperse protesting students

Police fired water cannons to disperse protesting Sabaragamuwa University students at Pambahinna in Balangoda this morning, the Police said.

The police fired water cannons at the students when they tried to block the road and prevent Minister S.B. Dissanayake from entering the University to declare open a new building.
