Good lesson for men who pass comments at women and annoy them.

    Lenny Wednesday, 27 August 2014 10:45 AM

I agree with you Pradeep, she deserves to be arrested, but there are more burning issues that need to be addressed in this country.

will you say the same if your sister had been verbally abused by a stranger?

    Migara Wednesday, 27 August 2014 11:03 AM

Utterly frustrated about the social response to this. This after all explains the patriarchal conservative social order within which we live. And plus a very good message given to society on harassment against women. The conservative pundits and now the law enforcement authorities are ever ready to victimize a victim and not the perpetrators

No. Even if it was a good looking man we wouldn't have smiled back and act all flirty. I've been cat called to so many times. This woman stood up for herself and God knows how many times she has been harassed. There's a limit to how much each person can tolerate and this outburst was proof that she had reached hers. PLEASE try walking in our shoes before you say that she deserved to get arrested. The irony of this situation is laughable! This county actually tolerates harassment and jails self defense.
THOUSANDS of women get harassed on a daily basis and it's ignored but when one of them retaliates to this madness the majority of the sexist male community loses their mind.

    Kolla Wednesday, 27 August 2014 01:04 PM

Once or twice of this would have been OK. But not 45 minutes of slapping!!!

    kuma Wednesday, 27 August 2014 10:28 AM

Are you approving violence? You are promoting a dangerous game!
This girl abused him verbally and physically; which is unacceptable. She should have moved on after responding to him verbally!
I see as this person who needs help!!

    Chryshan Wednesday, 27 August 2014 07:08 AM

She should be punished. She cannot slap a person for the sake that says something. If he was a good looking guy she would have taken as a compliment.
