A vehicle in which a Deputy Minister’s wife was reportedly traveling had met with an accident in Avissawella last night killing one person while injuring three others.

The incident had taken place at around 8 p.m. last night at the Ukwatta junction in Avissawella. However, the Avissawella police denying the presence of a Minister’s wife in the vehicle stated that a vehicle belonging to a ministry had crashed and killed one person while injuring three other individuals last night.
