Dear Sir,

Namaste.
Saskia Saturday, 11 August 2012 01:45 PM
Don't give attention to his views. A joker of India.
Nodrog Saturday, 11 August 2012 04:56 AM
As an Indian you would think so and are entitled to your opinion but from what we can see there is no difference between Indian and SL politicians..they're all mad!
nicky karunarathna Saturday, 11 August 2012 03:52 AM
There are noble people who sees truth as truth. There are ignoble people even truth, they do not see as three wise monkys. One now can see what's happening in Syria. US, UK and their allied countries supplying arms to their pet rebels. But when Russia and Iran try to supply something - there are sanctions imposed. After putting Iraq and Libya in turmoil in the same method by these muderous regimes, they are going on their mission unabated in their usual business of making war every corner of the globe to sell their armaments.
Sammy Saturday, 11 August 2012 03:33 AM
India has saner and more sensible politicians than Sri Lanka, atleast.
Nodrog Friday, 10 August 2012 04:35 PM
seems anyone who speaks for SL is a joker but the bigger jokers like jayalalitha and karunanidhi who speak against SL are good? Makes one wonder who the actual clowns are, you or S. Swamy?

How could India support Colombo, Mr. wijeyasinghe, when it was India who fed, trained, funded and mollycoddled the LTTE ?
Mr. B Wijeyasingha Friday, 10 August 2012 03:33 PM
There are too many pot holes in the eight provisions, especially the 7th which deftly tries to remove the role of the Buddhist Sanga. The 3rd provision is to devolve central control to regional areas when the issue of Eelam is still alive and the 6th provision to appoint a regional magistrate is practically handing the power to the local areas where Tamil dominated areas will have a greater say in the issue of autonomy. Again India is pocking her nose into the domestic affairs of Sri Lanka. India would not dare do this kind of interference with Pakistan.
Mr. B Wijeyasingha Friday, 10 August 2012 03:31 PM
The narrator of the article keeps harping on the ethnic unity between India and Sri Lanka as if that makes a difference. It does not. India supported the Tamil Tigers during the war and even now supports the interests of the Sri Lankan Tamils over the issue of an objective approach between these two communities. To date It has been China and not India that has stood by Sri Lanka, not India. If Sri Lankans and Indians are related like a family then the saying that "blood is thicker than water" should have caused India to support Colombo through the civil war instead India betrayed Colombo making a mockery of that saying. One could conclude that "mud is also thicker than water"
