Vessel with 115 asylum seekers detected

A vessel with a group of 115 suspected asylum seekers was detected by the Sri Lanka Navy east of Batticaloa last night, the Navy said.

“The vessel with the people on board is being taken to the shore,” Navy Spokesman Commander Ruwan Warnakulasuriya said.

    i think these asylum seekers are not informed about papua new guinea. they gonna endup in jungle if they go there.
