Vasavilan CentralCollege in the Palali High Security Zone was handed over to the Ministry of Education by the army today, Military spokesman Ubaya Madawala said. The school was closed in 1990 and was temporarily shifted to Jaffna.
This school has to be named as General Sarath Fonseka College as it is because of the braveness of General sarath Fonseka that the school premises was rescued.

But there are hadly any people living in this HSZ (palali)!!! Pls allow people to resettle in this area to further improve this good gesture?

Well that is what you know. General Fonseka was there most of the time in the battle field ( of course sorrounded by more than 100 guards ) . It was because of his presence that boosted the morale of the forces that gave them the energy and the belief that they can win the war. If the the general is prepared to take the bullet why shouldn't we?

If someone says General Fonseka never came beyond vavuniya, then he doesn't know where Vavuniya is. How about the Lt General ( then ) staying in Wanni for an entire month planning and planning. This was during the last months of the war. He was always in deep thoughts but now every Sri Lankan knows what he had being thinking . " How to save my mother land " ... ........Long Live the General

All media in the world are biased. In Sri Lanka, it is worse. No wonder democracy will die soon in Sri Lanka.
