The Colombo Additional Magistrate A.M. Shahabdeen today directed Borella Police OIC to provide adequate security to ex-DIG Vaas Gunawardena following the incident where a hand grenade was thrown at his house in Nedimala, Dehiwela yesterday.

However, the court directed the OIC to consult the High Court on the security that should be provided for the defendant. (JG & FT)

I could not believe that that he would bring the suspects to his house and he would let his wife and son to physically assault any suspect to extort bribes or for contract.
