Upcountry parties clash

Seven vehicles were damaged in a clash between the supporters of Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) and National Union of Workers (NUW) at Dimbulapathana a while ago, Nuwara Eliya police said.

One lorry, a van, a jeep and four three wheelers were damaged in the clash.

thousands of upcountry people walk atleast half a mile to get a bus to go to the nearest town. SEE the vehicles used by upcountry politicians.
