UNP tops Polonnaruwa district

The United National Party (UNP) obtained 118,845 votes from Polonnaruwa, the home town of President Maithripala Sirisena, and won three seats while the United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) obtained only 103,173 votes. The UPFA won three seats.
