    For Your Information

Well done Eran , we need people like you .

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 11:58 AM

Aslam Haji, Congratulations....You are the proud son of Dharga Town & a proud old old boy of Zahira College, Dharga Town. Try to do your best to Kalutara district as you have done during your tenure at Provincial council. You are a great leader.

RW has done the correct thing.Let Maano Ganeshan and Vajira A carry out their threats.Who do they think they are?Their inclusion in the list does not make the party any stronger nor can the party come out of the dumps for many moons.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 11:42 AM

because they are sure not to cross over.
We saw how the majority behaved.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 11:06 AM

All have misunderstood that defeated candidates are not in this list. But Ms Anoma Gamage is the wife of Mr Daya Gamage, whom contested in Ampara in UNP but lost.

So see his wife will be resigned and he will come to parliament, this is Dr Mervin Silva theory introduced by Madam Chandrika

Mano Ganesen should retire from politics since the people in the south have rejected you .Suggest that you go and look after Prabakarans mother or go back to petti kade business by selliing scrap iron.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 10:49 AM

So Ranil had the guts not to be intimidated and blackmailed by a losing candidate. Good Show.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 10:48 AM

Great to have Eran Wickremaratne in parliament. Not only will we wont get any foul language or unruly behaviour from him , (the benchmark has been lowered in the last 30 yrs) but the Country can really make use of him.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 10:44 AM

can any one tell me who is mr. Aslam ?? what was his role?/

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 10:05 AM

Congratulations to all especially to Mr. Eran Wickramaratne. The next Statesman of Sri Lanka.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 10:03 AM

Good choice. Grate people, surely no cross overs for money in the future.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:58 AM

Good Bye Mr. Hakeem. you dont know how to keep your voters. why do you have to keep 2 MPs from Nintavur ????

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:53 AM

Hope defeated creatures are not in the list. There should be a policy for party.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:40 AM

Good one. People like Eran and Dr. Harsha are much needed in parliament.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:06 AM

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:11 AM

We are glad that there are no fools this time in UNP list. Now UNP is a clear party with young blood. It is time to think of a new strategic leader who can bring voters to the polling booths before U think of a UNP government.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:06 AM

Mr Vajira abewardhana , its time to resign from UNP ;)

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:05 AM

Good, no defeated candidates at last !

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 09:01 AM

    ASLAM HAJIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELCOME !!!!!!!!!

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 08:31 AM

Muzammil should have been given a chance from Colombo

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 08:13 AM

    Dear Mr Ranil,
We highly appreciate that you stand against pressure from Manon Ganeshan and did your best by selecting good team. However, Harsha de silva is dead lost. He is a poor economist with crazy ideas and not understanding ground reality in Sri Lanka. Rukman Senanayake would have been a good choice.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:35 AM

Couldn't RW & Co. find a place for Vajira Abeywardena? when will this man ever learn to keep the UNP hardliners in the party? what purpose would it serve to appoint SLMC members through the UNP list, am positive no one would have even voted for Rauf, leave alone the rest.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:34 AM

Mr Mano Ganesen, over to you !

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:26 AM

Like Mervyn came last time. Daya Gamage will come in Parliament replacing Anoma Gamage.

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:17 AM

Now is the time to see the real motive of the politicians tied hands with UNP to fight against fraud, curruption or what ever they said.

    We are watching !!!!

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:14 AM

Other than J M Perera & Dr. Harsha De Silva... Can the others stand up to the Govt. MP's? Seems the UNP has returned the favour to the rest..! :)

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:13 AM

Good move not to accommodate defeated candidates from the back door/

    Wednesday, 21 April 2010 07:07 AM

Some columnist say Ranil soft towards minority party , Ranil is best in pasive tactics , Communal / minority parties are getting wiped by Ranils Tactics.
