1.9 tons of gold in central bank is been sold. Foreign currency reserve have dwindled,recession in US, EU, high unemployment are contributing to export trade. Yes with no proper economic security and development plan Sri Lanka will have to face a severe economic crisis shortly. How much ever economists warn the GOSL on these issues, they won't listen, as they are living in a Cinderella world and hiding the truth from people until the whole country collapse like Greece.

So it is militarized. What is the issue? While TESO has been resurrected in Tamil Nadu, while Sri Lankan Tamil politicians continue to call Tamil dominated areas as Tamil homeland and while the Tamil Diaspora have managed to get their host nations go gang up on Sri Lanka the only answer is an increase in the militarization of Sri Lanka in preparation for another war, which this time will be backed by the UN.

Budget deficit had increased under all governments in the history after 1977 hence obviously it has been increasing now too. But as this government says economy is improving then ;
Step 01: The rates of budget deficit increment should bring to constant level compared to the past though it is high.
Step 02: Next only it can reduce.
If Dr. Harsha can explain the exact situation without just blaming as deficit is increasing, it is not professional and people can understand.

This not new. The Foreign Service, Provincial Govt., Urban Development etc., has all been militarized with Armed forces personnel at the helm.
We are in a democratic militarized nation. Well done!
