Ukrainian dies from accident

A 24 year-old Ukrainian was killed at Ambalangoda on the Galle road this morning when the motorbike he was travelling collided with a car, police said.

The motorist had fled the scene after the accident. Ambalangoda police are investigating to arrest the suspect.

    This is not the first time a tourist has died on the road and this is not going to do any good for the reputation of Sri Lanka.

    Its about time some controls are put on hiring of motorbikes to tourists and where they use them.
