Ramesh,You are spot on. But also the police is very active when there is bucket load of money, as in this case, where the guys robbed a bank.
KHKaru Saturday, 11 December 2010 04:26 PM
Be careful how you act, Mr. Policeman, because the US and UN may take us to task for violating burglars' rights!

sunilsenerath Saturday, 11 December 2010 01:24 PM
Police is so quick to respond only when their members are affected or it is a act of politically against government. They are not so active on common peoples' complaints.
suwantha Saturday, 11 December 2010 12:03 PM

This time two policemen died & they caught the criminals. But the Rs.70 million robbed at Thorana Kelaniya still no clues and no interest because no Policemen involved. Also many major murders and abductions are still unsolved.
Senali Perera Saturday, 11 December 2010 11:37 AM
This is a joke. Police carry on with extra judicial killings always. Is this a democratic law qbiding society?
AF Saturday, 11 December 2010 09:38 AM
Excellent please make sure to kill the rest of members as soon as possible. We have to handle the criminals in criminal way.
Ramesh Perera Saturday, 11 December 2010 05:16 AM
police get activated if somebody kills a policeman only. otherwise nothing happens. useless police force in Sri Lanka.

Good News, I hope they recovered the stolen property.
THOMAS Saturday, 11 December 2010 07:31 AM
Police must be commented, and their service to the community praised. Good work, keep it up.
Gayan Saturday, 11 December 2010 07:08 AM
Your comments are pathetic. 2 police officers died in line of duty. They paid the ultimate prise for the country and to nobody else. By the way what have you done for the country?? waste of space.

Who said we don't have capital punishment?.
Miles Saturday, 11 December 2010 06:01 AM
They killed police who were doing their job. If people are law abiding this will not happen. Hope this is a good lesson for others.
