Two soldiers were killed and another three injured when a three-wheeler they were traveling skidded off the road and plunged into a precipice at Navimana on the Navimana-Matara Road this morning.
The Police said the three-wheeler with five soldiers attached to the Navimana Army Camp had crashed into the roof of a house 90 feet below.
The injured were admitted to the Matara Hospital.
Police said the deceased were aged 48 and 33. The two were residents of Thalawa and Matara.(DS)

What a shame! So sorry. Might not have happened if the three wheel had not been overloaded with passengers.
